Animal Care Assistants are an integral part of the team who help maintain the standards of care for our shelter animals and work in the receiving, care, and disposition of animals.Qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an oral examination, tentatively scheduled for the week of April 13, 2020. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Education/Training: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Experience: Six months of experience involving the handling and care of a large number of animals in an animal care/protection agency, humane society, veterinarian office, or law enforcement agency.

Animal Care Attendant - Santa Monica, CA
