Dance Academy USA was established in 1990 by James R. and Jane R. Carter as a one-room studio on the corner of Stelling and Homestead, in the city of Cupertino. Since that time, the studio has grown to the largest dance school under one roof in the state of California with seven state of the art dance studio rooms that serve over 2,000 dancers yearly.

EXODUS ARTISTRY is a fresh, new, professional Indian based dance company that strives to incorporate and fuse various artistic elements from Eastern and Western cultures respectively. Consisting of highly talented, versatile & professional dancers, we continuously look to push the boundaries of dance and creativity. EXODUS amalgamates the contrasts and similarities of various styles while still maintaining focus on the fundamentals and true essence of each style. Following this path EXODUS pushes to create unique, enjoyable and respected work. In its literal sense, an exodus is “a mass movement or departure of people.” We embody this as an engimatic movement. A performer utilizes dance, music to release inner emotions and personalities. In turn, he or she transmits these feelings to the audience, creating a unique connection and realm, in which both artist and spectator immeresed in. EXODUS ARTISTRY is the movement or depature from reality through art. Our mission is to create a true, open collaborative space and bring together artists of all walks. We strongly believe that collaboration amongsts dancers, musicians, actors, entertainers and many more, enhances not only the individual artist but the overall artistic product. As artists who are strongly influenced by various cultures ourselves, we aim to blend the uniqueness of different cultures and bridge the gap through art.
